Insurance and Prior Authorization
Independent MRI contracts with many insurance companies and we are pleased to file insurance claims for our patients. Insurance carriers require that we verify that the patient seeking service is in fact covered before service is rendered. Various insurance companies require prior authorization before the MRI is done. Your referring physician will obtain any prior approval if needed for the MRI. Please make certain that your insurance information is up-to-date to avoid potential delays. You will be expected to pay your co-pay at time of service.
Independent MRI Center, LLC is contracted with the following insurance plans or employer groups.

Uninsured or Self-Pay Patients
We prefer payment at time of service. However, we realize that full payment may not be possible for the patient. If full payment cannot be made, we require a payment of 25% of the examination cost at time of service and the patient will be asked to agree to a payment schedule for the remainder of the charges. We also offer a significantly discounted price of $995.00 plus tax ($1064.65) for a single MRI if paid in full at time of service. We accept cash, check, VISA or MasterCharge.
